Brrrrrr

Enjoy the day off. !!!!!!

We will have our memory work and spelling test on Monday.

If your child has time this weekend they can visit the library or research on the Internet for their community project. All they need to do is read about their communities. We will then put the information they are learning on their posters. I'm very excited to hear about everything they are learning so far! If they can find pictures that would be super!

Again enjoy the time at home!!!

Post-Family Day Weekend Post..

Hello,

I hope you all enjoyed your extra long weekend.

This week we are studying different communities inside of Ontario. Each student has a community that they will be researching and creating a poster for. Today, you will see that your child has brought home a piece of paper with his/her community name on it. If you have time/would like to be involved in the project you can research this community online and find books in the library. There will also be time to work on this project in class. :)

100 Days of School Done!

Hello,

Here we go into another fun week of learning.

We are learning all about community helpers this week! Today we were very excited to have Constable Egberts and Pastor Bilkes tell us about their jobs. It was very informative and the students enjoyed listening to other people in place of their teacher.. haha. We are looking forward to the other community workers that will be visiting grade 3 this week. If you have a job you would like to share with the class, send me an email. :)

Don't forget that we will have some time Thursday to pass out Valentines as a class. If you would like to have your child pass them out please provide enough for the whole class. (We have 26 students.) I can also provide you with a class list.

Schedule:
